.whist Mr. Richter was on his hiatus from practicing LAW, (suspensions from the bar / state) -his income stream was gained from the brief tenure as a PIANO TEACHER in Encinitas, Ca. (California Music Studios).. We hired "Mikey" (as he introduced himself) to give our (then) 8 year old daughter l...essons on piano and violin. For EIGHTEEN MINUTES- of the scheduled 30-minute lesson, our distinguished self-proclaimed virtuouso- continuously administered "posture corrections" (his words) to our daughter's shoulders and mid-back area, .. standing behind her- despite her vocal protesting and OBVIOUS discomfort. .. Mr. Maestro goes on to say "instead of piano, you shouldn't really consider modeling-- have you heard of the 'Disney Channel'?" he then asks of her... My wife ended the lesson immediately- and our kid won't LOOK at the piano again. I could go on, but (best part) when I threatened him? He says: "I'm a LAWYER!!"
