Marion E. Froehlich

Attorney Marion E. Froehlich was licensed to practice by the Bar Association of a California in 1995. She holds a Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California, where her studies emphasized estate planning and family law. She was certified by the California Board of Legal Specialization as a Certified Family Law Specialist in 2005. She has wide experience in mediation, divorce, custody, visitation, child and spousal support, legal separation, marital settlement agreements, domestic violence, and guardianships.

Ms. Foehlich serves as a settlement judge for the Family Law Court, where she continues to encounter a variety of legal and practical issues. She has acted as court-appointed minor's counsel, representing children, and pro-bono counsel in domestic violence cases. Her clients include children, mothers, fathers, older siblings, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. She advocates for a child-centered parenting approach.

Prior to becoming an attorney Ms. Froehlich enjoyed a career as a concert violinist, performing and traveling with the Delphi Quartet as well as with the San Diego and Honolulu Symphonies. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and a Master of Music in violin performance from the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. With her late husband, she also enjoyed a career as a wine importer, managing her own wine import company, San Pasqual Imports, for the importation of French and Italian wine. She grew up in San Diego, has two young adult children, and enjoys traveling and gardening. She brings common sense and her varied life experiences to her law practice.
