Was there a probate? Were you a beneficiary when he died I did you receive any assets? These questions are needed for evaluation.
DHL refusing to pay claim for shipment of package to the wrong address with proof of delivery to the wrong city!!

Probably DHL. You may want to ask their corporate office. Examine the documents carefully.
What is the typical retainer contract % ? Is it 33 % or 40% and why would there be a difference
between the 2 %'s.

That is likely attorney malpractice. It may not be feasible for a legal malpractice lawsuit for the damages you would suffer from the malpractice.

An OB-GYN physician would be needed to give opinion if this can occur without malpractice. Also what damages resulted.

Check the Court and review the court file. Request, in writing, they provide the judgment.

Yes, an attorney must keep up to date, and if his failures cause damage to a case, he may be liable for malpractice.
