Being a citizen of both the United States and Mexico, and having lived and worked in Mexico City, I have maintained a strong international focus on my practice. I assist companies by serving as local counsel or helping to communicate with foreign local counsel. I have assisted them with their U.S. acquisitions, formation of U.S. subsidiaries, import and distribution regulations, and tax obligations in the United States.

I have represented clients from complaint to trial; conducted discovery on cases with multiple co-defendants and large number of plaintiffs; argued before both state and federal courts demurrers, temporary restraining orders, motions for summary judgment and discovery motions; represented clients in settlement negotiations before mediators and at arbitration hearings; presented oral arguments, conducted direct and cross examinations and made closing statements.
