I hired John Lester over eighteen years ago, after another attorney dropped my case because I wasn't paying him enough. John worked with me on my installments and represented me for over ten years for issues related to child custody. He was upfront and straight forward, providing clear options for ...me to decide. I especially appreciate his overall sensibility. John's forthrightness is not for everyone. But I strongly recommend him to anyone who wants a lawyer who can talk straight.

Mr. Lester told me that I would prevail over my husband, and guaranteed his word to be true. That was a lie. He promised never to charge for telephone calls and that the case would be "short and sweet". I don't want to reveal my identity for fear of retaliation. This man is capable of ANYTHING. ...He will tell a judge ANYTHING. My next step will be to present my case to the Bar. He took advantage of me to the fullest extent.

I didn't work with this attorney very long. He was nice to me in the beginning and promised a certain amount of fees. That promise turned out to be #@!*%. He quit and CONTINUED to invoice. He even charged us for phone calls he made, then would rant about his personal life. Well, we paid for that.... He charged someone I know for what was supposed to be a "FREE consultation... NOT COOL." By the time this gets posted, he will probably be retired.
