After we ...hired him and dealt with the first few rounds of Evan not answering important emails, we should have fired him. He always had an excuse. The lack of communication continued, the promised filing was six months late and had to be edited by us several times because it was missing important information. He billed us for an hour for calls that were thirty minutes. In mediation, he did not act in our best interest and was again, not communicative. We were heavily pressured to sign a badly written agreement we didn’t understand, so Evan wouldn’t have to prepare at the last minute for a trial he should have already been preparing for. We are still considering filing a complaint with the State Bar Association for unethical behavior.
