Biography
I have extensive experience in all areas of civil litigation, including employment and labor law, business law, real estate law, creditor/debtor bankruptcy, judgment enforcement, appellate law, contract law and commercial/construction law. I am a seasoned litigator with substantial civil litigation experience.
I began my legal career at the law firm Hallstrom, Klein & Ward, LLP in Orange County where I represented large and small companies, including auto dealerships and import/export businesses, in civil litigation.
While in law school, I gained valuable litigation experience through externships, including participating in international civil and criminal rights programs at the University von Amsterdam in the Netherlands and at the International Criminal Court at The Hague during Slobodan Milosevic’s trial for war crimes. I also held a prestigious position at the Gang Unit of the Orange County District Attorney’s Office where I assisted with the investigation, compilation, and prosecution of gang related felonies and capital murder cases.
