Absolute train wreck. I was low on income/homeless and was referred to Michelle for my case. During the entire 8 months of hiring, Michelle was extremely dismissive of my case and prioritized all other cases around her. She hardly communicated during the 8 months and barely did anything for me, I had... to bring all evidence and documents to her and not once did she think of good solutions. I was calling her worried 24/7 cuz of her lousy work, and it turns out it was for a good reason. I was doing more work for my case the Michelle was. Ms. Silva spent more time on vacation than actually helping me with my case. Not only was I misrepresented, I was deceived and lied to by Michelle saying that she was capable of handling a family law/civil matter. Turns out Michelle specializes in Criminal Law/DUI’s with NO experience in family law what so ever. The first day I met Michelle she pretended that she could handle my case draining me of $5,000 dollars, providing absolutely nothing beneficial for me or my case. I mean a literal public appointed attorney would have done a better job for me. The hearing was a literal joke, my attorney was nervous and didn’t even prepare for the case what so ever, the plaintiff’s attorney walked all over her, and she was a PUBLIC attorney. I should have bit the bullet and paid a higher retainer for someone with actual experience in that field…. Not someone who convinces you they can handle something out of their usual cases. Absolute TRAIN WRECK of an experience.
