Richard Alan Lucal

I was graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy and served as an Air Force Officer for over 9 years.    I have a Masters in Science and Engineering from Princeton University.   While in the Air Force, I was an instructor pilot and assistant professor of Astronautical Engineering at the U.S. Air Force Academy.

I was graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1989 and have practiced law in the State of California since 1989.   I worked at the largest law firm in San Diego, California for 5 years before forming my own law firm and was trained on civil litigation by some great trial attorneys.   I now operate as the Law Offices of Richard A. Lucal and have done so since 1994.   I focus on complex commercial litigation and general business legal advice.  I have extensive trial experience and have worked on all aspects of civil litigation from large class action lawsuits to smaller matters.  My law practice is client-centric and is focused on providing the highest quality legal services for a reasonable price.   My clients appreciate my availability in the evenings and on weekends and my prompt responses to inquiries.   I try to bring a creative and problem solving approach to legal disputes and fully understand the strains that litigation places on individuals and businesses.   Over 90% of my business comes from long-term clients or client referrals.
