Madelyn J Chaber is a 35+year award-winning trial lawyer, including twice Trial Lawyer of the Year by San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, Finalist by Public Justice and Outstanding Advocate by CAOC. She practices as an attorney handling mesothelioma/asbestos cases, co-counseling on Product Liability, Toxic Torts, Personal Injury and Mass Torts as well as a Trial Coach and Consultant.
Over the course of her career, Madelyn has tried numerous cases with successful result in the form of significant verdicts, including multiple punitive damage awards. Her trial skills have been honed by years of battling large corporations, toxic polluters and Big Tobacco as well as teaching Trial Advocacy to lawyers and law students. As a trial coach and trial consultant, Madelyn supports other lawyers in and out of the courtroom, strategizing, conducting focus groups, jury selection, witness preparation and co-counseling with them.
After decades in the San Francisco Bay Area, she now calls San Diego home. She is a member of the American Board of Trial Attorneys (ABOTA), a member of the American Society of Trial Consultants (ASTC) and has AV Preeminent Rating Martindale-Hubbell. Some of her recent recognitions include:
