Prior to graduating from law school, Dr. Louis hamer was a practicing physician for fifteen years. His law practice centers on health care law. He assists physicians and other health care providers with peer review issues, problems with state medical boards, Medicare regulations, and other federal laws, including the False Claims Act, the Anti-kickback Statute, the Stark Laws, and the Patient Protection and Affordability Act (the new health care reform). He forms business entities and drafts contracts for health care providers as well as assisting patients to fight excessive medical bills.
