We are thankful to Manny for 15+ years of fighting for our IP!

Our tool manufacturing company has been working with Manny continuously for over 15 years, and with his help we have earned over 14 patents for our tools (with three more now pending in 2021, and even more planned for this year). Manny has such a gift for understanding complex mechanical devises, ex...plaining to us how the USPTO works and how to strategize our efforts, and especially with helping us identify what we should (and should not) patent. His guidance along our journey has been critical in protecting our IP and helping us to become the strong company we are today! Do not underestimate the copiers out there... if you have something unique, you need to protect it, and we are thankful Manny is helping us do that.

Stellar

I've been working with Manuel for the last 5 years on 15 US patent applications, all of which were allowed (there were more if foreign versions are counted). If this is not a stellar performance, I do not know what could be?!

Our experience with Manny

I am the president of an engineering services and products company in southern California. Our firm has been consistently pleased with Manny's work, as he has guided us through the process of both obtaining patents and defending them against infringement. Regarding the latter, he has helped guide u...s through the process of contacting infringing companies and persuading them to set up strong licensing agreements. We have avoided having to go through the process of expensive litigation. Manny does a very good job of communicating. We have often had to arrange teleconferences, and he generally makes himself available on short notice. When we don't understand some legal process or legal language (which is often!), he explains himself well. When we have some disagreement about how to proceed, he argues persuasively, and in those rare times when we have decided to go against his advice, he is graceful about moving on and supporting us. Manny is always mindful of the cost aspects, and often gives us advice that helps us save on legal fees (that is, advice against his own self-interest). We appreciate that. Our company has other legal counsel (in other areas of law), and by comparison, Manny is a great value. Overall, I highly recommend Manny in the area of patent set-up and defense.

Munuel is more than excellent

Manny has written many patents for our company. He is smart, fast and knows how to do the job right the first time. Manny's rates are good.....he advises the client on how to save money. There is no need to look any farther....I would absolutely recommend Manny 100%.

"Manny did a wonderful job securing a full reversal in our favor with the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals on a employment agreement matter. The Court's opinion closely followed his arguments on our behalf in his briefing. I would highly recommend Manny for any appellate/IP work and will be using him in the future."

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I am a fellow intellectual property law attorney and have known Manny for many years. The most important quality in a patent attorney is the ability to learn. Manny can learn just about anything. I have referred clients and potential clients to Manny over the years. One was an MIT graduate with a complex technology. Manny learned it quickly. The feedback I have received about Manny is excellent."
