I hired this attorney to seek increased parenting time and a more stable long-term arrangement. I was advised to pursue an aggressive litigation strategy and to reject settlement discussions in favor of going to court. The end result was the opposite of what I was trying to achieve. After signific...ant time and expense, the court ordered a schedule that provided less parenting time than what had previously been available through settlement, along with additional financial consequences tied to how the case was litigated. In retrospect, I would have benefited from a more realistic assessment of my position and clearer guidance about risk, cost, and likely outcomes. The approach taken increased conflict and expense without improving the result.
