Marc Allen Duxbury

I had an extremely disappointing experience with attorney Marc Duxbury. From the start, his behavior was incredibly unprofessional—every other word out of his mouth was an expletive, making it difficult to take him seriously. After four weeks of complete radio silence, I decided to cut him loose. In ...that entire time, he did absolutely nothing for me—literally nothing. Yet, he still had the audacity to charge me $7,000. The only thing he provided was bad advice, which left me worse off than when I started. I wish I had looked up his license before dropping that money! Turns out he has several convictions and actually lost his license on 7/19/2000. He is not eligible to practice law in California due to discipline with actual suspension (Case No. 96-C-03132). His conviction record was transmitted to the State Bar Court on 3/20/1997 under the same case number. What you did is so wrong, Marc. I believe in karma, and I hope it catches up with you.

Mark was very easy to work with. When we first spoke over the phone, he gave my wife and me all the details we needed and made us feel reassured that help was available. We decided to hire Mark for our Chapter 7 bankruptcy case, and he, along with Elizabeth, did a fantastic job. They always kept us i...nformed and promptly contacted us whenever they needed anything. I just sent a lot of money to someone I’ve never met because a girl, possibly his employee, gave me a great reference. I don’t have a lot of money so I thought this was very foolish of me. Fortunately, Marc Duxbury was everything the young girl in the court room said. He was helpful. He explained everything. It turned out that the case was much more involved than we originally thought. He made sure my son understood every aspect of the case. Mr. Duxbury went beyond with his services including an early morning meeting in the judge’s chambers with the DA in an effort to come to a better understanding of this case. Hopefully my son will be home soon and I am forever grateful for the services of Marc Duxbury and his sweet office assistant, Allison. My son's time is much shorter than it would have been. I would highly recommend his services. BTW - Prior to us hiring Attorney Duxbury, a Public Defender was assigned to my son. He never showed up in court and never even met with my son. Don’t trust your life to a P.D.

Most everything happened as Mark said it would. Allison and Elizabeth were always available to answer our questions. The process was quick and easy. But be aware ahead of time, there is an extra cost if you go with a reaffirmation agreement. All in all we would recommend Mark to anyone in need of his... services.
