My name is James and Roland Haddad defended me on everything from terrorist threats to manufacturing methamphetamine, sales, and distribution. Without his professionalism I would probably be doing life right now. Granted I have received prison time many times, but none of this time I received wa...s his fault. It was mine, I commited the crimes, not him! !! Once these lames below that gave Roland bad reviews learn to take responsibility for their own actions, only then will they realize that Roland does his best to defend the trash in society. Yes. ..I said that. once I was trash in society. Committing crimes with disregard for anyone in my path. Since then I have grown into a responsible adult, pay my taxes, have a good job and I haven't been arrested for over 13 years. If you're ever in an unfortunate circumstance.....use Roland. He will not let you down. If you're guilty, you're guilty! !! Take the deal because you will not win unless you truly are innocent.

Extremely disappointed in how my case was handled. Prior to taking in the case, Haddad was enthusiastic and sounded like he was ready to put up a good fight. He lost steam by my second court appearance and pressured me into signing the same deal I was offered by the public defender when we originally... discussed taking the case to trial. He was unwilling to look into options beyond signing a deal. There was definitely a lack of effort and the aggression I was hoping for and had heard about from so many others was nonexistent. I am beyond disappointed and recommend looking into different counsel.

This attorney came highly recommended by word of mouth. I was told he was one of the best for the type of charges I was facing. I was working with very limited funds, so I knew that once I invested in an attorney, there was no going back. Knowing the facts of my case, and having discussed it with ...numerous people well versed on the subject, I was confident in the outcome being favorable. However, in hindsight I realize that this attorneys sheer lack of motivation to assist me wound up costing me my pristine record. He kept me in the dark throughout the entire process, and in the end, as I sat on a bench outside the courtroom trying to make sense of all the paperwork I was reading and signing, conceding to a guilty plea that I knew in my heart and was told by numerous other professionals that I could beat, I asked him for more time to think about what I was agreeing to. A felony charge on my otherwise perfect record meant nothing to him but has and will continue to negatively effect my life in many ways. I wanted to consult my brother, an attorney, and ask his opinion, but I was simply told "no, I just gave you 5 minutes to look it over". I don't think 5 minutes is adequate for a life altering decision. The day we brought motions before a judge I had to take the stand. Roland did not at all prepare me in terms of what the motions were trying to prove, and the prosecutor confused me and we were denied the motion. There was another motion he failed to file for, that I felt was very important, and when I questioned him about it repeatedly, he blew me off with excuses. However, after being denied the motions, even the judge mentioned that we had a very good chance at winning with the one motion he didn't file. He asked my attorney if he was aware of a recent case that had been tried which was similar in nature and had over turned legislation regarding the law involved. Y attorney quickly brushed it off and hurried me out of the court room. When I told him I wanted to go to trial he asked "to fight what?" which was a ridiculous and insulting question! To fight everything! But when he was going over the plea bargain with me and I was hesitant he told me if I didn't want to sign it, I could find other representation. At that point I had neither the time nor the resources to hire alternative counsel. I wish more than anything I'd fought this and gone to trial. He could have at least gotten me PC 1000 to avoid a felony charge on my record. I am disgusted at having spent thousands of dollars to be bullied and coerced into a conclusion that I hired an attorney to avoid. I would not recommend Roland Haddad to my worst enemy. In fact I am actively campaigning to discourage anyone I know from even considering using his "services". Do yourself a favor and spend your money on an attorney who will fight for you and not make you feel like you are a huge burden any time you attempt to find out any information on your case. This man's total lack of compassion has permanently changed my life for the worse when I had committed no crime worthy of the charges he forced my hand to plead guilty to.
