Paul Joseph Mirowski

Paul J. Mirowski has served as legal counsel to the Business, Labor, Technology, Entertainment & Fashion community for the greater San Diego county region since 1982. Mirowski’s career includes a 1995 lawsuit exposing the fraudulent practices of a number of San Diego’s Talent Agencies which was widely covered by the media and a successful precedent setting appeal of technology issues in the U.S. 2nd Circuit (New York) Court of Appeal. Mirowski holds the Martindale-Hubbell preeminent "AV" rating since 2009 which means he holds the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. Mirowski has been recognized by San Diego Magazine and by the San Diego Business Journal as one of San Diego’s "Top Lawyers." Paul was also recognized as a finalist in the SDBJ Top Corporate Counsel 2016. Since 2005, M&A has been the primary attorney for the San Diego House Staff Association, the PERB Certified union of Resident Physicians at UCSD. In this position, M&A was responsible for organizing the SDHSA into a professional organization representing the interests of UCSD House Staff, advocating common sense solutions during disputes, negotiating wages and work benefits with the UCSD Medical Center and guiding SDHSA through 5 Contract Negotiation seasons through 2015. Mirowski continues to be the driving force and continuity for this union which has served as an example to the entire UC system of a cost-sensitive but effective labor relations practice based upon comity and intelligent negotiations. In addition, Mirowski represents Companies owning numerous restaurant holdings in and out of San Diego, Music and Film Professionals and Technology Companies.
