I was recommended to Gina by a family friend for my second go around in family court. My first experience I dealt with a money hungry lawyer that charged me for every waking minute, huge retainer fees, and inability to connect with me on a personal level. Gina was the COMPLETE opposite. She did not l...imit a consultation with me to 10-15 minutes like most lawyers, she took the time to make me feel comfortable and build a relationship with me before hand to understand the case and what she was taking on. She worked with me on the financial side of things knowing I'm a single mother with no financial support. She was ALWAYS available no matter the time of day, even on weekends and late nights to settle my nerves and answer my questions. She was prompt in everything she did for me and got things done no matter what it is that I was asking of her, she made it work. When it came to our time in court, she made me feel comfortable and calm that sense of anxiety you feel while in family court. She is compassionate and treats you like a human, rather than those other lawyers who see you as an easy way to rack up a couple grand on fees, constantly manipulating the situation knowing you're in a vulnerable spot. As long as Gina continues in this profession, I will recommend her to any and every person I come across because she's just that good! One of a kind. I had spoken to several attorneys prior to selecting Ms. Aguirre to handle my child custody case, and I was taken aback by how detached, insensitive, and money-hungry they all were. All that they seemed to care about was securing a retainer even before they listened to the facts of my case; in fact..., most would not even let me have an initial conversation with them over the phone, but rather would require me to come into their office and pay for a consultation. Ms. Aguirre, on the other hand, was not only very empathetic and easy to talk to, but she also expressed a genuine concern for the well-being of my daughter and the outcome of my case. I appreciated the fact that she kept me informed of all aspects of my case and made sure that I was in agreement with each move before it was made. Most importantly, however, she was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and had a strong courtroom presence- it was evident that she was well-respected and well-liked by other attorneys and courtroom officials.
