Review

I hired her for my brother's immigration case. She was very helpful throughout the case and she worked at a really fast pace. I'm really impressed by the way she handled the case and she is still my attorney for the rest of the case proceedings.

B2 Visa Letter

I contacted Nilima regarding drafting a B2 visa letter for my cousin and his wife. She was very accommodating. I scheduled an appointment and she drafted the letter the same day. She was professional and she made me feel special. As a matter of fact, I will be using her to draft my will. I highly rec...ommend her.

Best possible way

Nilima came on board to help my mom to take upon pro bono case for my brother that was being deported right after he had served time in LA county jail. Having a greencard and having felony charges put him on brink of deportation and the officers at detention were very adamant that he was going to be... deported. We had no resolution on how to help my brother who had mental disability that went undiagnosed for so many years and the charges were so against him that it was hard to convince the prosecutor that he needs mental evaluation and with help of Nilima that came to help our situation guided us through proper channels to accumulate all related documents, case supporting evidence of his mental challenges that lead him to have the felony charges. At the hearing she defended my brother by proving that rights for a disable detainee must be attended and with her best of knowledge prompt decision making she saved and helped gain a court hearing that would release my brother on bond and allow him to have a mental therapist and medications after his release. She helped save my brother from being deported and worked hard to bring justice to the mentally disable human being. Humanity is a valuable asset that Nilima knows how hard situations can break down individuals. However having her as your representative, know you are in good hands. She's a fighter for what she believes in. And isn't afraid to stand up for the right justice.

Dear Sharma, Thank you very much for the amazing and thoughtful review here. I am deeply touched by your appreciation and kindness in expressing the gratitude. I was just doing my job but an appreciation from people like you certainly boosts confidence and zeal to continue what I do. I wish your brother all the best with his future.

Attorney helped me get a low bond and got me out quickly

I was in detention and hired NILIMA Shah. She travelled from CA to AZ and met me in person within 3 days. She filed my papers and called my family every step of the process and appeared in person for my hearing when she could do so by phone. She got me the lowest bond possible and right after hear...ing, she immediately called my family, gave them all instructions, address and info. about how to and where to post a bond. I would have been stuck in detention for weekend if she didn't help my family with all the info. she gave on how to post it and where. After I was out, she answered every call and helped me with all the questions even though I am not her client anymore. She really cares about her clients. I recommend everybody to go to her.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I have known Nilima for a number of years. Because I am a spanish speaking attorney I receive a number of immigration related questions from my clients that I refer to Mrs. Shah. In addition I was extremely impressed to hear Mrs. Shah's own story of migration to the US and the manner in which she became an immigration attorney shows that she is 100% invested in her practice. For these reasons it makes it simple to refer clients to her with full confidence."

Relationship: Supervised lawyer

"We had the privilege of a brief stint with Nilima before she became an attorney. Even back then, she was extremely knowledgeable both about immigration law and about local procedures and practices. Since she opened her practice, she has really excelled and raised the bar for immigration practice in the Inland Empire."
