Matthew William Camphuis

I grew up in a small town where I learned the values of hard work, perseverance, and respect. I’ve also lived and studied abroad in three different continents —observing first hand what works and what doesn’t.

I know the values in the US that are worth fighting for to preserve and protect, but I’m realistic enough to know that things could always be better.

I strive to be the best at whatever I set my mind to. I’m a passionate advocate and a natural leader. I’m a people person, but I can just as easily find contentment in solitude.

I hold a Juris Doctor and a Master of Legal Studies in Human Rights from Trinity Law School. I did my undergraduate at Liberty University where I obtained a Bachelor of Science.

I’m an advocate for the oppressed and I seek justice. I believe in treating others with respect and doing the right thing. I’m not afraid to fight a good fight and see justice done. I have a heart for the little guy or gal, and I am not afraid to stand up to a bully. 

I graduated top-in-class from Trinity Law School and received the highest award at commencement by vote of the faculty. I went on to pass the California State Bar Exam on my first attempt.
