What had started out as a meritless accusation of ‘assault” which I believed I could manage by myself, evolved into a substantial ‘binder’ of accusations, irrelevant ‘evidence,’ wishful thinking, exaggeration, and flat, outright lies. Neither my wife nor I ever imagined that we would someday be def...endants in a courtroom. Up to this point in our lives, ‘Matlock’ and ‘Perry Mason’ was as close as we had come to facing accusations in front of a judge. Several months after this, he went to court on our behalf and successfully argued that the person who initiated this action should also pay our attorney fees.
