I hired Edelmira to help me with my divorce and custody. Once I paid her she stopped responding to my emails, text messages and phone calls. I found out that she never filed any paperwork on my behalf with the courts. When I asked for proof that she submitted any paper work, she proceeded to verbally... abuse me. I feel so taken advantage of. I was referred by a friend of a friend. Now we have to legally try and get the rest of my money back.

Took my money for a custody case and left me in limbo. Stopped communicating and even wouldn't return documents I provided her. Son ended up in a shelter due to her not doing her job and thankfully I was able to retain another attorney at much higher cost to fix her mess. And I now have custody of my... son. Stay far away from this thief.

Eddy was great in court, but shortly after hiring her and paying the retainer she completely stopped all communication. She would not answer any calls/texts/voicemails or reply to any e-mails. I tried contacting her for months with no luck. I couldn't file any of the paperwork I needed to because she... was still assigned to my case. She wouldn't even reply to my requests to have her taken off my case. I had to track down her office address online, and then her secretary stamped my form to get her taken off my case.
