EDUCATION:

Mr. King earned his Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne College of Law in 2008 and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Gettysburg College in 2003. During law school, he completed clinical training at the Disability Rights Legal Center (La Verne satellite office), litigating civil rights matters on behalf of individuals with disabilities. He served as an Appellate Division intern with the Hinds County Public Defender's Office in Mississippi, where he authored a Writ of Certiorari to the United States Supreme Court (2007) challenging Mississippi's jury instruction scheme on Sixth and Fourteenth Amendment grounds. Following law school, he externed at the California Fourth District Court of Appeal.


PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS:

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. King is a Certified Contract Advisor with the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) — a certification he has held continuously since December 2016 — representing professional football players in contract negotiations. He previously served as a FIFA-certified football intermediary through Soccer Reps, LLC (2017–2020), representing professional soccer players in contract and endorsement matters domestically and internationally. Since November 2020, he has served as General Manager of the Empire Strykers, the Inland Empire's professional indoor soccer franchise in the Major Arena Soccer League.

FAMILY AND FIRM:

Mr. King's brothers, Justin H. King and Jonathan L. King, are his law partners at the firm. All three brothers have been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® in 2025 and 2026. Their father, the Honorable Jeffrey King, served as a Justice of the California Fourth District Court of Appeal. Their mother, the Honorable Pamela Preston King, served as a San Bernardino County Superior Court Judge.
