When my wife of 20 years, surprised me with divorce papers, I was in shock. I immediately started calling as many lawyers as I could trying to figure out who could represent me in the way that I desired. Angelique had the perfect combination of tenacity, rationality, knowledge of the law, and listene...d. I really felt that she cared about the outcome not just signing up another client on the books. It was a long drawn out divorce with custody, alimony, Financial, and DVRO filings. The office always acted with haste when emergency orders needed to be filed and kept me in the loop. I can’t thank them enough for getting me through such a tough period in my life. I will recommend Ms. Bonanno and her team to anybody who is going through divorce, she will represent you with fervor, class, and ensure your welfare is the utmost most concern.

I did NOT find her through Avvo. Hired her for a family law case in San Bernardino County. What a big mistake. Sorry excuse for a lawyer. - she did not follow through discovery process. - over litigate the case by filing unnecessary claims and not filing necessary documents on time. -put her busi...ness interest above the client’s interest. - lied to the judge and opposing counsel- opposing counsel asking for a follow up email and she apparently doesn’t have the courtesy to do so. Not respectful of court’s time nor opposing counsel’s time. - her office is a mess- stacks of case documents everywhere- it us hard through to walk through them. - very disorganized desk. I thought it was a one time thing and then realized that’s her pattern behavior. -lack of professionalism- she has no emotional regulation- yells on the phone when things don’t go her way. - says one thing and do another including her unprofessional staff. Teresa and Jessica are ok but the paralegal Kim is the worst.

Although it's been a few years since Ms Bonanno has resolved my case, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't look at my children and think about how thankful I am for her and her team. I walked into her office distraught and helpless, a stay at home mom cut off from funds to leave my abuser. Bef...ore I knew it, and I mean fast-- she was able to get a temporary restraining order/ child custody/ child support, and spousal support orders in place. She guided me through the whole process of the trial, which also dealt with supervised visits, a child custody evaluation, and an out-of-state moveaway. Needless to say, I walked out of the courtroom on the last day of trial feeling empowered. Ms Bonanno has integrity, class, and is a phenomenal attorney. I highly recommend her.
