So bad.

Got a DUI in California. While I won't deny drinking, I was in the middle of a medical emergency with no way to contact help. I sent him a single-spaced, one page summary of the events as they happened. He did appear for me in court, and was relatively reachable. But finally, on the day I had to ...appear, he showed an hour late. The assistant D.A. just got more and more irritated while we waited. So when he did finally show up (he apologized because he scheduled two trials at the same time), he came busting through the door like Doc Brown from Back to the Future. His hair was messy, his underwear was half way up his back out of his pants; just completely unkempt. And when he finally began to argue the case, he had absolutely NOTHING in the way of facts. It was like he was arguing another case altogether. And I couldn't afford anyone else after paying him the $2,500+. I can't even be upset at the court for being found guilty, because he was so utterly bad. Had to serve 3 out of 5 days I was sentenced in county jail. Not to mention the fines. Save your money and give it to the court instead.

Unprofessional and disrespectful

I got a DUI in California and live out of state - he charged me $3,900.00 to handle the case for me as I live in another state, work full time, and I am in school - he let me make payments but knew nothing about my state and California laws - there is a difference. After my bill was paid in full it... was very difficult talking with him - he treated me like I was a moron (and maybe I was for hiring him) - hung up on me, and my room mate - It took 1 year to get my case heard. I complied with all court orders and six months later (last week) I rec'd a letter from him stating the Judge had issued a $10,000.00 warrant for my arrest. Co of Riverside CA suggested I request my money back.
