Byron Charles Thompson

I've been using Byron and his office since 2011. The divorce took 5 yrs. to complete (my ex had excuses left and right not to show up to court). Through it all Byron and his staff were courteous and professional. Helen and Diane were the best! Always available to answer questions and to relay inf...o to Byron. The divorce lasted so long, shortly after it was finalized I was able to retire (3%@50) within a year of the divorce I took the ex back for 50/50 custody. The ex fought it and we prevailed! No I have what I wanted all along, time with my son. Thank you Byron!

Byron is very knowledgable. Nice. Bulldog. However, he was reading someone elses file while we were in front of the judge! Later, when we went back to court we hired him again, gave him $5000, he cancelled at least 10 appointments without notice and failed to return our retainer. It's been almost a y...ear now. Their billing office manager quit recently, apologizing to us for the terrible way we have been treated. This seems to be a pattern. Too bad. He's a smart lawyer.

I was recommended to hire Mr. Tuckerman but was later routed to Mr. Thompson. Little did I know until 3 months later that Mr. Tuckerman no longer actively practices with this firm. As a result they are swamped with work and not responsive to your needs. It took over 30 days for them to respond to ...one of my inquiries. I had an emergency and I couldn't speak to an attorney for 5 days. The lawyers may be good, but they are not responsive in a timely manner to the needs of a divorce client. On top of that there is no single person like a paralegal you can call to speak about your case. Go with with a small firm where you will get more personalized attention.
