Helpful + quick

She responded to me quickly and gave me precise and helpful information, even though she doesn’t take cases like mine. Was so grateful she responded even though she didn’t expect to be hired. Truly a wonderful and smart human!

SUZETTE IS THE BEST!

Suzette is the best! She is one of the few attorney's who answers her phone and actually talk to you personally. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable throughout the bankruptcy process. She "personally" made time in her busy schedule the day before the hearing to call and make sure I was oka...y! This is unheard of from an attorney. She made me feel Iike I was her only client. I have recommended her to all my family and friends. Thank you Suzette for restoring my faith in the legal profession, you are the BEST!!

Definitely don’t recommend

While Ms. Douglas has a very engaging and gregarious personality, but that doesn’t help me in my court case. She is not concerned with following up on her cases, meeting deadlines, or reading information about your case sent via email. I’ve been trying to file since Jan 2018, and while we did have to... “age the case” slightly, she did little to nothing to make sure paperwork was filled out on time, or correctly, and I feel the answers she’s given me to every question I’ve asked her has just been to placate me until she gets around to getting something done. If I was able to do this over again, I would definitely not use her services. Everything will be left to her paralegal, Flatrock Legal Services. She will meet with you the first time, then pass you on down the line.

Hello Rachael, I read your review and I am both grieved and sorry that I did not meet your deadlines. I not only enjoy practicing bankruptcy but I love my clients. Most importantly, I love helping people but sometimes get backed up in my work. In this situation, I was also under the weather off and on for a couple of months. I do not want to comment on the details of your case as I am still your attorney and I am prohibited from violating the attorney-client relationship in any way. Yes, my paralegal does a lot of the drafting which is the job of a paralegal however she is under my supervision. I personally meet with clients, review and approve every court filed document, personally appear at the meeting of creditors and all hearings, and try to personally answer the phone. As I explained to you in prior conversations, your case is extremely complicated and requires more detailed work. Notwithstanding, you are not pleased with how I have handled things and I take full responsibility for that. It is however my intention to bring your case to a successful conclusion. I truly appreciate your business and again apologize for falling short in meeting your needs. Have a wonderful day. Sincerely, Suzette

Thanks a million!!!!

Suzette was great. She walked us through everything & indicated what we could expect at the hearing. It made a trying time more tolerable. In highly recommend her. She communicated back to all questions in a timely manner, even if she was busy. I felt like my concerns were a priority to her.
