Sandy Catrina McNutt

Sandy McNutt is the founder and managing partner of Worker Shield Law. Sandy gained considerable experience advocating on behalf of individuals during her tenure as a Deputy City Attorney. She has a history of protecting the under-represented and vulnerable, having worked for both domestic violence and sexual violence against minors units. As a prosecutor, she conducted several trials to verdict, which allowed her to become well-versed in all stages of litigation. Later, Sandy worked for Mayor Villaraigosa’s office as the West Valley area director, where she spearheaded major events such as the White House Entrepreneurial Program. Working directly with White House staff to join widely recognized businesses at a large forum led by industry leaders. This platform also allowed her to gain a greater understanding of the city’s shortcomings. She discovered that the city didn't provide adequate safeguards for the everyday worker to feel secure in their livelihood. This realization, combined with her previous work in victim advocacy, launched her career in employment law.
