Generally, one is paroled to their county of residence at the time of the conviction. He will need to request a transfer.

General release means with no conditions--ie, geographic or otherwise. He still must appear in court.

They can arrest you whether or not you answer questions. DO MOT ANSWER. Get a lawyer and have a bail bond person standing by.
