I am a 60 year old professional and I was arrested for DUI in late 2019. This was my first criminal offense. I had no prior experience with the legal system; and I was not only in unfamiliar territory, I realized that I did not know what to do or how to handle the situation. I called Greco Neyland... PC attorneys at law and was scheduled for a consultation. I met with Ms. Villagomez and her calm demeanor instantly put me at ease. She was very patient and explained the entire legal process of a DUI; provided me with clear expectations for proceeding forward with representation on my behalf. At this point, She recommended that we go to trial because what the DA was offering was equivalent to going to trial and being convicted. I trusted Ms. Villagomez and took her advice. We prepated for trial. Thankfully, Ms. Villagomez did not waiver, and relentlessly continued to pursuethe no trail option; even as we prepared for trial. This went on for months, because of disruption in the courts due to the pandemic. After 18 months, fortunately fI was awarded a favorable outcome and did not have to go to trial. I absolutely credit my outcome the excellent and persistent representation by Ms. Villagomez on my behalf. I am confident that if we did have to proceed to trial, we would have been granted an aquittal. I am very grateful to Ms. Villagomez and honestly believe her persistence with the DA to grant me an alternative to trail contributed greatly to the judge's decision to avoid going to trial. Given this opportunity to avoid going to trial, I vow to never drink and drive again. And although it is my goal to never be in this situation again, If ever I need legal representation again, I will not hesitate to call Ms. Villagomez.
