Ginger Sia Marcos

I live i Philly- Me & my wife were out in Burbank- 2013- After reviewing 3 or 4 Bankruptcy attorneys, we decided on Ginger Marcos , to represent my wife ! It was a great decision. Ms Marcos is kind/understanding & most competent She explained things to my wife & took her thru the entire pro...cess Ms Marcos was at the hearing & all went smoothly. I took my civil case to Marcos with the view that I could get the judge to force the defendant to pay my attorney fees of over $10,000. I would not have proceeded if Marcos had informed me that in California each litigant is required to pay his attorney fees unless there is a public issue. All she ...had to do was inform me of California Rules of Civil Procedure, but she neglected to do so just to run up fees on me.

I went to Ginger for a Bankruptcy a Chapter 7, and she Charged me an Appearance Fee of $150.00 USD, because I lived in Kern County, and she was out of Los Angles County. Now I did not mind the face that I had to pay. It was understandable. But when it was time to show up to court. She did not sho...w up at all. She hired someone else that was from Kern County (Bakersfield) and had them show up. Not once out of the three (3) times did I see her in court. Then when my motion went in front of the judge, it was denied the first time, because she did not take the time to fill out the paperwork according to Kern County Laws. She went off of what LA County did. So because she did not follow Kern County Laws, and did not inform everyone that I was filing for a bankruptcy, I ended up not getting my Driver's License back in a timely manner, and I lost my job because of it. I would not recommend her. If you do go to her, keep making sure that all your information close and you make sure that you are being told what is going on. She is hard to get a hold of, and you have to keep bugging her until she calls you back.

This was the worst experience I have ever gone through professionally. This attorney is non-responsive to her clients. The only way she communicate with you is through email. She filed our Case in court and we had a court date set. Two days before the Court date, we received a letter from the Court i...ndicating that our Case was dismissed because the Attorney failed to file all the appropriate paperwork on time. When we reached out to her to see what the status was, she became"ghost" and now we are dealing with another assistant. This case is going on 2 + years and there is still no resolution. I feel like I have been scammed. I paid them for the Services and got absolutly nothing except a forclosure, high blood pressure and terrible credit. Do not waste your money, time and energy with this Attorney, you will be so highly frustrated and confused.

Hiring Ginger as my attorney was the best decision I could have made. She helped me throughout the whole process of litigation and was very responsive with telephone calls and emails. Her and her assistant are also very professional and friendly! I would definitely recommend Ginger for any legal m...atter.
