Artur Abramyan

I represent policyholders against their insurance companies.

My path to this work started on the other side of it. Before law school I spent two years as a bond claims examiner and a year at an insurance brokerage, learning how policies are sold and placed and how carriers actually evaluate, value, and deny claims. During law school and after, I served as a judicial assistant at the Los Angeles Superior Court, which gave me a close view of how civil cases move and what persuades a judge. I then practiced on the coverage and defense side, representing insurers and their insureds.

That background is the reason I do what I do now. I know the internal logic behind a denial letter, what a reserve analysis looks like, and where a claim file is thin. When I read a carrier's position today, I recognize the playbook.

I opened Abramyan Law, P.C. to put that experience to work for policyholders. My practice covers denied, delayed, and underpaid first-party claims, including fire, water, and other property losses; business interruption; duty-to-defend and coverage disputes for commercial insureds; bad faith litigation, including failure to settle and excess judgment claims; and uninsured and underinsured motorist disputes. I also serve as coverage counsel for other attorneys handling injury and business matters.

I am based in Burbank and represent clients in English, Armenian, and Russian.
