BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! This review must be helpful for current and future customers. Please read as at might save your time, money and to avoid losing your child custody. On our first meeting with Shirlee we had agreed for a flat fee to handle our case, that we paid. Perhaps she is a good bankrupt...cy attorney, but in no case do not hire her as a family or divorce Lawyer. Shirlee loses documents, ignored my requests as a customer, could not answer questions in a timely manner and in general, does not try to defend your interests! For an example, for several months I wrote, called and bagged for a “court order” documents without any response. In my situation it is very important to follow all the court orders and understand them, otherwise I may lose a child. At the trial, Shirlee sat silently, haven’t even tried to represent our interests and wishes not even mention that she forgot and lost some of the documents that we had prepared for the trial. As a result of Shirlee’s incompetence we were forced to hire another attorney at the risk of losing a child custody. So after we hired a new attorney we received a bill for an additional 7k$ for services that we never received nor had agreed to. Shirlee did not hand over the case correctly to a new attorney, including loss of some important documents. Don’t try to save hiring Shirlee, because you might step in our shoes and waste your time and money. Don’t sign any documents or retainers without carefully reading them, because now Shirlee is threatening us with collection agency and ruining our credit score. Sincerely, Anna
