Worker's compensation has become so insurance/employer biased it's hard to prosecute a case without an attorney. The laws are not in the worker's favor and everything is a fight. I'm an attorney who fights for you.

Compassionate And Skilled Gem Of An Attorney

I was referred to Vicky Temkin by my accountant and previous attorney with whom I inquired about getting a referral for a bankruptcy lawyer. I couldn't have been more pleased with Ms. Temkin from the time of our initial meeting right through to the closing of my bankruptcy case. Her kindness,... compassion, knowledge and skill were evident from the start and her reassurance was welcomed given the difficult time in my life. I have nothing but the highest of praise for Ms. Temkin and I would retain her services again when called for without giving it a second thought. Needless to say, I would also recommend her services to anyone I do or do not know. She is a true gem!

Best Lawyer EVER!

If you're looking for a honest, caring, reliable lawyer look no further. Vicki helped me with my workers comp case after I transferred over from a big law firm that was treating me like I was another dollar sign, and not a person. Vicki has been there for me, advised me and has even gone out of her w...ay to find me doctors who would treat me for my pain. I thank you Vicki for not only being my lawyer, but also being a friend. You are an exceptional human being, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Best attorney ever in my humble opinion

There are times when you are feeling down and it seems like no one cares. Not even the attorney you'd hired to fight for you. Either due to incompetence or just not caring. Eventually you end up wondering if there is any hope and whether there is any good attoneries out there? The idea that there cou...ld be one, just one attorney out there who cares, seems more like something out of a Hollywood movie. But one day after nearly a year of disappointment after disappointment, lie after lie, and excuse after excuse from my former attorney, I met Vicki and decided to let her take over my case. One of the best decisions I've made in my life. Right away I saw a huge difference in the way my case was handle. She concentrated on getting me the right medical and financial help I desperately needed. She always returned my calls or replied to my e-mails in a timely fashion. She took her time to explain things to me. What had happened, what was about to happen, and what I could look forward to. Always in a clear and easy way to understand. People have always joked around about all attorneys going to hell when they die. Well, I think that Vicki is the exception. She actually cares and tries to do her best to help her clients. I'm sure the devil is not too happy about an attorney getting away. Just one example of what she does that other attorneys won't. One day I was talking to her over the phone and told her that my back was hurting pretty bad because I had washed my car. She told me that I should not be doing that since I had a bad back. I told her that I had to because the insurance company was not sending me any money (at that time the insurance company had stopped sending me worker's comp checks for some unknown reason) and I couldn't afford to pay someone else to wash my car. She told me that she would send me coupons from the car wash she uses on Ventura blvd. Coupons for a full car wash for around 4 to 5 dollars. She even asked me if I needed money to eat. She told me that she could send me some cash to buy food, but I refused. Actually, if I remember correctly she did give me 20 dollars once to go eat. Anyhow, sure enough by the end of the week I received an envelope from her with the coupons. She actually took the time and effort to mail me some coupons. Impressive! I was an EMT for nearly a decade when I suffered a career ending injury. Being an EMT I was used to always being on the go helping people. My injury forced me to sit back and let others help me. Something very hard for me to do. Especially when I was not getting any of the help I knew I needed from my doctors and former attorney. There were times that I felt like quitting and dropping the case out of pure frustration with the system. We definitely have a broken down worker'so comp system that favors the insurance companies and employers. Leaving the employees and their attorneys with very little choices and plenty of BS to deal with. Vicki helped me keep my cool and encouraged me not to quit. I'm glad I listened to her. I can't say enough about Vicki. I would highly recommend her for any personal injury and civil case. She is a fighter and she'll fight for you the way an honest attorney would and should. If one out of ten attorneys were as carrying and gave each client the attention she does, this country's legal and political system would be much better.
