Slade J. Neighbors

Guiding an Encino, California, law corporation for more than two decades, Slade J Neighbors focuses on workers’ compensation law defense cases. Working on behalf of employers, Slade J. Neighbors is certified by the California State Bar as a specialist in his field and has engaged as a Los Angeles County pro tem workers’ compensation judge.

Mr. Neighbors’ qualifications also include certification as a Medicare Set Aside consultant, and he is one of the few in his field who holds Certified Medicare Secondary Payer Professional status. His accomplishments include the development of evidence that helped the District Attorney’s Office and California Department of Insurance prosecute cases of workers’ compensation fraud.

Slade Neighbors has also made appearances in Criminal Court that enabled employers to obtain restitution orders and has presented court evidence in matters involving employee fraud. He received his BA in history and Russian and East European studies from the University of Washington and JD from the Whittier College School of Law.
