Jeremy Evan Karpel

We hired Mr. Karpel to defend my brother in a self defense case, we gave him all the proof he needed and yet he chose to sell my brother to the D. A. He lied to my brother about the plea deal he was giving him and got him to sign it without giving him all the cons of pleading guilty. He chose the wor...st moment to lie to my brother, at his worst moment, when he was scared to death. Thats when he lied to him and got him to sign the plea deal. We hired another lawyer and fired Mr. Karpel. This new lawyer was hired to fight the plea deal so that my brother could have his day in court and when Mr. Karpel was called under oath he lied yet again to defend himself and never admitted his wrong doing. My brother defended himself, never got his day in court to prove he acted under self defense and Mr. Karpel was the final nail to send him to jail. He is seving time because Mr. Karpel is a poor excuse of a man, yet alone a lawyer. Please do not hire Mr. Karpel, look elsewhere for your defense or the defense of a loved one, we as a family paid the price of hiring Mr. Jeremy Evan Karpel, dont do our mistake.
