Took my peronsal injury case with lack of experience and finances needed to present case effectively. He said he had doen many personal injury cases but was actuallyreally only a family law attorney. Frequently lost paperwork, missed deadlines, and missed scheduled appointments with medical witnes...ses. Was sanctioned by the court for not being prepared. Waited to the last minute to request medical records thus costing MUCH more than if done in timely manner. Failed to contact very important witnesses until just prior to trial even though he had nearly 2 yrs to prepare. Did not even know how to prepare the evidence binders required for trial. When I expressed concern he claimed I was trying to micro-manage my case. My physician expressed concern at his lack of professionalism. Briefly reviewed my medical records himself but never hired a professional to review them. I was present on several occasions when he called and cancelled appointments with other clients last minute, On more than one occasion another attorney would call him telling him a client was at his office- for an appointment he had forgotten. He was very unorganized-all of the time. The judge and jury both hated him. He ruined my life. He used me and my brain injury to his own personal gain and I have no funds for medical care or assistance. He could care less.
