Robert Borsky

Robert Borsky is a Certified Family Law Specialist who has practiced law since 1981. His practice is limited to Family Law. Over the years he litigated special cases referred by Judges and other Attorneys.  Robert is a trusted Counselor and advisor for his clients.  His diverse legal background assists clients in his family law cases.  Robert has diverse experience in business and law that he brings to the bargaining table and courtroom in his family law practice.  He has litigated cases for Fortune 100 companies such as Chevron, Disney, Universal/Vivendi, and GE as well as cities and counties. These include the County of Los Angeles, the City of Los Angeles, LAPD, LA County Sheriff Department, and the LA Fire Department as well as insurance companies such as Northbrook Insurance, 21st Century Insurance, CNA and AIG, while maintaining his Family Law practice. His breadth of experience speaks for itself.

Robert Borsky has served as a mediator, arbitrator and Judge Pro Temp for the Los Angeles Superior Court since 1986. He is a member of the Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and San Fernando Valley Bar Associations. He is a past President of the Long Beach Bar Association Family Law Section, and is a past Co-Chair of the California State Child Custody Committee. As an advisor to the Superior Court, Robert received the first Judge William McFadden Award for his contribution to assembling the first Master List of qualified Child Custody Evaluators and Protocols.  Robert team taught college level courses on the Business of Law at USC Law School from 1990 to 1998, and has been a guest speaker at State Bar functions as well as local County and City events. Robert can be heard on local radio stations, and he has written numerous articles for the bench and bar.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Robert worked in the radio broadcast industry. He was an on air talent and programmer for the powerhouse Drake-Chenault, KHJ  Los Angles, KFRC San Francisco and he programmed 250 radio stations across the US and Canada.    In addition, you’ve heard his voice on radio and TV commercials for major companies, such as, Toyota, Bank of America, and The Merv Griffin Show.
