This is a misdemeanor. If you have not dealt with it you have a warrant. You can expunge it. What do you mean by abstract?

It should not change the charge. Get an attorney . The age of the pills in the bottle could present some issues.

You will need an attorney to handle this and negotiate a plea to lower the speed to allow you to attend traffic school.
