I hired ms obrien to help with trust account matters. It is my opinion, and only my opinion, that the case which lasted for years was unnecessarily prolonged. I believe that someone with more knowledge could have completed the case in less time. I paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to bring the ...
This review has caught me by surprise. The trust matter mentioned by this client concluded in 1999. The matter concluded favorably for this client, and he was very appreciative and very pleased with the outcome. He retained me to assist him in a variety of other legal matters for approximately 11 years after it concluded. The trust matter he mentioned was not just a simple trust accounting, it was highly complex and involved getting an irrevocable trust amended, which was very difficult to accomplish, and there are few attorneys who ever have done that. But I succeeded in doing so, and it resulted in this client getting a large increase in income distributions over many years, and removal of the trustee, which were the client’s goals. My fees were extremely low in comparison to larger firms, and I certainly did not make “hundreds of thousands of dollars” on this matter. The opposing party was the largest bank/trust company in that state, that had a large law firm on their side. Because of the complexity of the matter, two of the top trust attorneys in the state were co-counsel on that with me, and an expert forensic accountant, who is one of the most well-respected accountants in the state also helped on it. I’m very sorry that this client, who I liked very much and worked very hard for, now, is choosing after all this time, to try to hurt my reputation and livelihood with an unfair review.

Jeanne was a godsend, she made simple what other lawers seemed to make difficult. I've never had a better experience with an attorney. Words cannot express the understanding and concern shown through a mere phone conversation. In your time of need don't hesitate to give her a call.
