Biography
Howard Gertz received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota in 1973 and his law degree from Loyola Law School in 1978. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1978.
Mr. Gertz is an experienced litigator with both trial and appellate experience. He has handled a wide variety of matters including traffic accidents, product liability, slip and fall/trip and fall, professional malpractice, bullying, subrogation and wrongful death.
Mr. Gertz was counsel for the plaintiff in the first civil jury trial ever held in the Big Bear court in San Bernardino County in 1981.
In addition to his trial work Mr. Gertz has substantial experience in mediating and arbitrating cases. He is a member of The Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles as well as The Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Mr. Gertz has also been involved for many years with youth baseball. He claims he grows the world’s hottest chile peppers.
