Don't think twice, run from this guy, and his smooth talker Rick

I bought into this program because it was recommended to me by an email from, as it turns out, the same company that holds your money in trust for Herb Davis until the bank/credit card company gets paid. I was on their 36 month pay as you go program which was being deducted out of my checking account..., EFT, monthly. HERB REQUIRES 40% to settle 100% of the debt. When you have enough money in your trust account, Herb sends the bank a check for about 10% of what is owed on the Credit Card balance, and he keeps the other 30% for himself (profit & expenses). His trick is to send a letter with the "payoff check" (the 10% of your debt) saying that if you accept this check, you are agreeing to the terms outlined in the letter, which states that the check amount is considered satisfaction of the debt. Most people know that when you send a check to a lock box, the check gets cashed and the letter, well I'm sure it never gets read or forwarded on. On the accounts that Herb Davis has worked on to settle, none of them have a zero balance as I was promised, the balance continues to grow, and the only difference between now and before I contracted with Herb Davis is that my balances have only been lowered by the amount of my money that Herb sent to them trying to get them to wipe out the debt. (the 10%) I could have done that and saved myself the 30% he kept, and refuses to return. In addition he has kept the remaining money in my trust account that was building up to pay off the next credit card balance, even after I cancelled my contract with him, a large 5 figures amount remains in trust (what an interesting name for the place they keep your money). They ignore my phone calls, promise to get back to me, and never do, are very unorganized, and the program did not work for me. RUN, AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN !!!!!!!!!!

Think Twice

On the advice of a "friend" I engaged Herb Davis's office. I sent 40% of my total debt to Herb's office. Be aware, Herb Davis's debt reduction approach is subject to the interpretation of the law. And each state interprets the law differently... 3 lawsuits and bankruptcy later, I'm worse off than ...when I started. Also, read his contract carefully. His office charges a 40% FEE to resolve your credit debt. I learned his office only sent 9% to one of my creditors and left me to hire an attorney in my home state to defend the subsequent law suit. While his staff is nice, they are extremely disorganized. Think Twice.

Herb Davis Helped me with my Debt!

My credit cards were out of control. I had 3 with balances of $15,000, $18,000, and $7,000. Minimum payments were well over $1200/month and the interest rates were killing me. We needed to use those cards after I lost a job, then we could never recover. We considered debt settlement, but their paym...ents were even higher! Herb's debt resolution is the best. It took us just 18 months, all the cards were resolved and there was no 1099 issued by the banks. Thank you Herb for helping us get our finances back on track. I cannot recommend you program enough! They kept us informaed and communicated every step of the way. Thanks again, we feel like we are on top of the world thanks to your firm!
