I have worked with Jonathan Lafrance 2 times in regards to post divorce issues. In both instances Jonathan showed that he knows the law and court system extremely well. He prepared my cases in depth including being prepared with alternative arguments if needed. My hearings were decided in my favor... in both situations. Jonathan is excellent at examining your issues from all perspectives while still remaining open to your opinions and needs. If you want to win your case hands down, you won't find a better attorney.

In my opinion and based on my personal experience, Jonathan lacks the skills to problem solve—especially highly contested, highly emotional, complex family law issues. He takes forever to respond to correspondence (if ever) and has every excuse in the book for lack of his performance when he finally ...does respond. He’s late to court and is ill prepared. He goes from calm to heated in a matter of seconds whenever he is confronted with details that don’t support his case. It is also my experience that he overcharges for his time. If you require a family law attorney, look elsewhere and find a professional who is a Certified Family Law Specialist certified by the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists.

I was involved in a rear end auto collision on the 405 Freeway. I was recommended by a friend to contact Jonathan Lafrance. What I was looking for and liked about this law firm is its personal touch. I had contacted other law firms with 10 or 20 partners and Jr associates and felt like I was just goi...ng to deal with a non personal processing plant that would just stretch out the case. I found his office was very pleasant and very easy to deal with including Mr Lafrance. He settled my case just like I imagined a very good attorney would. A short time later I was being personally sued. This was a fraudulent law suit and had to prove this in court. Mr Lafrance took the bull by the horns and handled my case very efficiently resulting in me winning the case. Jonathan Lafrance handled my case and got it done. I am now going to let his Law Firm incorporate a LLC for me and handle my future legal business dealings. I highly recommend this law firm.
