Would never recommend! Extremely unprofessional, abusive, and cruel! Has caused me a great number of sleepless nights.

I am writing this review because I am sick of the way I feel whenever the memories of how this attorney treated me arise in my head. I am disgusted with the human mind in that here is a grown adult man who literally has to assume the fetal position and exert an extreme amount of energy thinking about... positive things, what he is passionate about, etc. to make the memories go away. I want you to know Theresa it was extremely wrong, regardless of the fact that I completed my NA meetings in an irresponsible way, to use the tone you did to demand of me to "sit down" on the courthouse bench in the crowded public plaza so you could abuse the relationship you had created with me as a friend of my mother's and belittle me. You had no right to use the tone you did and no right at all to talk down to me similar to how one would discipline a dog. It was extremely unprofessional to treat me this way instead of finding a private place for us to talk where you could have politely and respectfully voiced your false beliefs. What was also wrong and unprofessional was to tell me I was lying about not knowing what to do when I arrived at the courthouse. Just because I had been through a similar process before did not mean I would remember exactly what to do the next time and the way you came out of the courtroom, ripped my paperwork out of my hand and told me that in fact I DID know where to meet you because I had been there before was downright outrageous and barbaric. I shudder to think you feel this is acceptable behavior for even a child let alone a grown adult twice my age! To again reiterate and to hopefully save someone else from ever being treated this unprofessionally and cruelly, after we had spoken to the judge and I had successfully shown him my completion of my NA meetings which he found no fault with, I attempted to explain to Theresa that I had arrived possibly 5 minutes late and I sat there in the courtroom plaza waiting for her not knowing she was already inside about to speak to the judge. I apologized profusely and told her I had been waiting around for her; I was unaware I was supposed to go inside and wait for her. She decided to mock me by repeating back my words in a cruel tone. She then had the nerve to bark at me to "SIT DOWN" on one of the benches so she could continue this hateful bullying. She must have thought I had Autism or Asperger's and felt it necessary to use a cruel tone and yell at me so I would cower in fear and listen to her. She actually said to me that I shouldn't have been displaying the facial distress that was apparent to any passer-by as she continued to bully me while I sat there shocked and helpless, not knowing how to respond when I had previously been in the presence of such a different Theresa, a much more kind and respectful and professional Theresa, when my mom was present, go figure. I would never in my life recommend her to another soul and to this day, probably a good 5-6 years later, as a grown adult mind you, have to exert an extreme amount of energy to get the images and especially the feelings out of my head whenever the memories start to arise. I believe women should harbor a special sort of feminine inner beauty: a kind, sweet, gentle demeanor. Theresa embodied none of this the day she decided to wreak havoc on my life in a crowded courthouse plaza and I pray I never run into this type of hateful energy again.
