She was the lawyer representing the landlady in an unlawful detainer case and still continued to represent the plaintiff even after it was discovered that her office had falsified documents on file, including one that she brought along with her, herself, to trial. She also made it a point to try to ...ridicule, laugh at, and taunt me when I was facing a lockout by the sheriffs, although I had NEVER said nor done anything rude to her EVER beforehand. I guess just because the judge was so lenient with her about the intentional and blatant harms and offenses that they did throughout the case, she felt comfortable exuding privilege and mocking me just because I confidently and adamantly defended myself against being wrongfully forced out of my home. I know the real reason why she laughed at me. It had more to do with how she views others who come from different cultures as "less than." The nature of her ridicule, that she just couldn't help but to partake in, really came from a disposition and mindset of thinking she's innately 'superior,' and not because she practices law, but because she has a certain air of 'privilege' and false sense of 'superiority' that especially comes out around people, mainly women, of color.
