I represent companies and individuals in disputes against insurance companies. I am thankful to have been a shareholder at Anderson Kill, the nation’s leading law firm in representing policyholders in insurance coverage disputes. I am now with the Alvarez Firm and my representative cases and matters include the recovery of insurance policy benefits (defense and indemnity) for wage and hour class actions, director and officer (D&O) liability, and professional malpractice. My clients tend to be in the transportation, manufacturing, or hospitality industries. I am a member of three state bars – California, Illinois, and Oregon (inactive) – and have practiced in the following Federal courts: Central District of California; Southern District of California, Northern District of California; Northern District of Illinois; Central District of Illinois; Middle District of Florida, Western District of Washington; Southern District of Mississippi; District of Hawaii; Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal; Seventh Circuit Court of Appeal; and the U.S. Supreme Court.
