You should contact the supervisor of the office in which the lawyer works, or if he is private, the judge that makes the attorney appointments.

Maybe the judge had a conflict or too heavy a caseload. There really are a large number of reasons that this could occur. Might talk to the lawyer...

You need an attorney, start looking for one now. You are in serious trouble, this kind of crime, while on probation can lead to serious consequences.

You might want to hire a private attorney if you can afford it. Public Defenders, for the most part, are very good and experienced attorneys, but...
