If you didn't violate the law, fight the ticket. Your printout may be illegible, but I'm sure the data in the computer will be quite legible.

If a parking ticket write up puts the vehicle in a different state on the citation do you have to pay the fine?

That sounds like a minor error that can be corrected. They have the plate number, and probably the VIN, so you can try to fight it, but not ignore...
