He needs to ensure he has an attorney at every stage in the proceedings. I don't practice in TN, but if he's charged, he can be arrested.

One man's threat is another man's promise. I know it may fee like a threat, but a DA and a judge will call it good ol' fashioned plea bargaining.

I agree with Mr. Hill. I'm more concerned about whether you have a probation violation in the court case. Have you checked on that?

My friend was solicited by an inmate in a state prison. He offered her money to bring him drugs. The prison read the letter.

If he went to trial and lost, he can certainly appeal. What the outcome would be depends on the issues he has on appeal.

You can certainly do so. You can go to "find a lawyer" on this site. If you can't afford counsel, you will get appointed counsel.

It varies widely. You'll need to contact lawyers directly and get some quotes.
