you should ask your spouse. Usually, they have a counselor or other person inside that is tasked to have this information.

He needs to get a lawyer before making any statements to law enforcement thinking he can just talk his way out of it.

It should not--dismissed charges aren't convictions, which is usually what employers ask for. It does depend on the employer and what databases...

You cant' force a federal judge to set a trial, particularly in civil.

Name change petitions are public procedures, you're best advised to get a lawyer and clear the warrant.

Federal courts are very busy, you'll have no luck "forcing" a prompt trial.
