Patil Trastamad Derderian

Aloha: I was wandering around in a vast desert of bad choices for lawyers willing to help me with my family situation. Good thing I stumbled upon Patil as a recommendation from a reputable family trust attorney. She turned out to be an abundant oasis of assistance, both practically, and psychologic...ally, as she sympathetically assured and comforted me with her confidence and competent abilities. Prior to receiving a reference to Patil, I googled LA attorneys with the expertise I was seeking out. One had 70 5-star reviews, but after giving me ample time for an initial consultation and expressing interest, I took time to prepare, and I sent him my documentation, and eventually followed up due to a lack of response, but I never heard back from him again. A polite denial of interest would have been appreciated. Another that popped up in the Google search had mediocre--at best--reviews. The criticisms were that his incompetent son managed his office, and he was difficult to speak to in person. I was so desperate that I gave him a chance, but when I called his office, his son told me I would have to show up in person, not over the phone, or Zoom, which was a deal-breaker, considering I live in Hawai'i. From day one, Patil assured me that her handling of my case would eventually put us in the driver's seat of the situation, and it did. The plaintiff who filed the frivolous suit against me was begging for a deal, instead of going to court. He was so intimidated by Patil's competent demeanor, he never showed up to court...twice! The case against me was dismissed. Patil seemed to undercharge me so much--not counting hours that should have been counted--it made me feel a little guilty. I am a humble government worker, so my means are limited, but I was happy to pay the reasonable rates and hours she charged me, and she was definitely worth every penny! Her responsiveness to every phone call, text, and email helped me understand the important intricacies of my case, and her sensitivity, empathy, and sympathy shined brightly in every interaction. I can't begin to say enough about how much Patil helped me, and in so many ways. She definitely goes above and beyond the call of duty, and I would not think twice about engaging her again, in the unfortunate event she was needed for me to defend myself against a member of my own family.
